What is the problem?

In the airbag computer of the subject vehicles, due to inappropriate programming, there is a possibility that an impact when the rear wheel passes through a hole or a dent could be determined as a side collision. If this were to occur, the curtain shield airbags may deploy unintentionally.

What will MOENCO do?

Any of our branches (Addis Ababa, Adama, Hawassa, Bahir Dar & Dire Dawa) will replace airbag computer at NO CHARGE to you.

What should you do?

Please first check whether your vehicle VIN numbers match among with the list below:

If your vehicle VIN found among the list above, Please contact MOENCO; Addis Ababa, Adama, Hawassa, Bahir Dar & Dire Dawa branches as soon as possible to schedule an appointment to have the repair performed.

The labor time for the repair is approximately 2 hours. However, depending upon our branches work schedule, it may be necessary to make your vehicle available for 3 to 4 hours.

Please present this notice to MOENCO when you bring the vehicle in for your service appointment.

If you no longer own the vehicle, please providing us with the name and address of the new owner information using our WhatsApp number +251-937-262626.

Special Service Campaign of Fuel Tank to Filer Pipe Hose on AVANZA

What is the problem?

There is a possibility that a crack may develop on the Inlet Hose which connects the Fuel Tank to the Filer Pipe when exposed to high temperature environment conditions due to Ozone Deterioration. In this condition, the crack could expand over time which may result in a fuel leak.

 What will MOENCO do?

Any of our branches (Addis Ababa, Adama, Hawassa, Bahir Dar & Dire Dawa) will replace the Fuel Tank to Filler Pipe Hose at NO COST to you.
